What does the Gov't Shutdown Mean to Buyers

With the US Gov't shut down for the most part, loan approvals may be delayed, Gov't owned REO sale approvals may be delayed and US Gov't employees who are off work with pay almost certain to be retroactive are looking for homes.  Sellers are a bit uneasy as this is the slow time for sale any way so you can negotiate better terms.  Interest rates have also dropped a bit so this may be th last, best time to buy a home for a while.  If you are on th fence, get off and see what you can buy.
