Abilities Expo comes to Los Angeles this weekend

Is your life touched by someone with a disability?   An autistic child...an elderly parent...a wounded vet?  If so, and you live near Los Angeles, this weekend is an excellent chance to explore the kinds of assistance, adaptive equipment...life altering finds that can make the difference between being "dis-abled" to being "differently abled, but just fine, thank you very much!".

As a Realtor with a subspecialty in working with clients who have a wide range of special needs, I try to make the Abilities Expo every year if possible.   I have found that many people who are living with disabilities, and having a hard time coping with them are not aware of the latest advancements in science, adaptive equipment, or often funding sources for these products and services.

Last year, I spent a day at the expo, and met a paraplegic surfer, discovered a new resource for cost effective 100% healthy (no formaldehyde) and universally designed homes that can be built - and financed for veterans by CalVet loans...I learned about communication tools that can free someone who has lost the ability to speak from being closed out of everyday conversations.

Come and see...you'll find yourself amazed...inspired...and armed with lots of good info.

Hope to see you there!
