The Villages – Is Paying the Bond Off a Good Idea?

Paying the Bond off is probably a good idea if you don’t need the cash.  But leaving it finance may be a good idea if you need the cash to accomplish other things that will make your move and living experience more enjoyable.

Example: the P & I on a $5,000 remaining Bond is less than $500 per year and, therefore, inconsequential when compared to the present value of $5,000.
