Join the Alexandria Archaeological Commission to raise funds to save a unique record book currently deteriorating at the Virginia Library.  The record book is on the list of endangered collections, and funds are needed to stabilize and rebind the book.  It can then be brought to Alexandria for exhibition.  This is the book that provides all the names, ages, dates and places of death for the more than 1700 people buried at the Freedmen's Cemetery on the 1000 block of S.Washington Street.
