Thank you Dave for being a terrific agent! The recent sale of our family cabin in Haines would not have been possible without your incredible patience and hard work. You went way beyond the call of duty with your help of moving, hauling, picking up and putting on the snow chains, advice on shipping items - I could write a book about your generosity. I not only HIGHLY recommend you as a Real Estate Agent, but consider you a trusted friend. You and Pam make an amazing team. Thanks to you and everyone at Haines Real Estate for making this sale happen. Sincerely, Virginia Trowbridge

HI Richard,

Glad to hear you are planning an Alaska Adventure! Haines has been dubbed the Adventure Capital of Alaska. We have unforgettable scenery and wild areas within minutes of town. I think you will find several areas to camp and fit your needs fro your stay in Haines.

We have good fishing on the Chilkoot River and in places where you find clear water tributary streams into the more glacial and silty Chilkat River. Chilkoot State Park would put you closest to some of the best fishing, whereas boondocking along the Haines Highway or at 25-27 Mile Haines Highway there are some off the road areas more fitting for ATV access, like riding right from camp. There is some fantastic off road exploring near the old mining town of Porcupine, where 'gold rush alaska' has been filmed in recent year.

We are in full spring mode, and have just put away the snowmobiles and are getting the boats in the water for another epic summer in Alaska.

We will see you in July!

Safe travels,
