A slice of California is moving into Chicago’s River North area, and it’s bringing in a bit of heat, despite the restaurant’s name: 25 Degrees.
25 Degrees is all about the burgers in this chic neighborhood, and it promises to fit right into the area. Have no fear about the restaurant’s name; it’s not the temperature of the restaurant but a reference to the temperature of burger in between rare and well-done. Burgers are topped with local artisanal cheese and start at a sensible price of $9.
25 Degrees plans to open in June at 536 N. Clark St., where Blues Chicago once stood piping out blues tunes.
River North may be considered a neighborhood packed with restaurants already, but there’s plenty of places to live in this cozy but bustling neighborhood.
