One of the greatest things about holding an open house is that it gives me the opportunity to meet and get to know so many of you.Â I have ended up with some of the best clients and made some wonderful friends over the years.Â Oh, and contrary to what some people think, open houses, sell houses!Â Â Â
Several years ago I had some very special client's tell me that they were
going to list their home with an agent that seemed to be best agent in
town.Â They visited an open house of his so that they could get
aquainted with him.Â When they got to the house he was outside talking
to a pretty lady.Â My client's went into the house and spent about 15-20
minutes waiting for him to come in.Â He never did!Â When then walked
out they told him why they were there and that they would be listing their home with someone else.Â LUCKY ME!!
When I am at an open house, I am at work!Â It is my job to greet everyone who walks in.Â It is my job to keep an eye on everyone who walks in.Â It is also my job to sell that home which means answering questions about the home and the neighborhood.Â If I don't do any of thoses things, I am not doing my job.Â Basically I have to be on top my game at all times!Â This is how I have built my business, this is how I have earned your trust.Â
