Fun Miami New Construction - The Crimson

I remember during the 1980s when I first saw the condos going up in Miami, and thinking what a fun place this must be.

The new development called the Crimson is likely to be one of those iconic looks for a new generation.  It will be located in Edgewater, and have breathtaking views of Miami Bay.  The brochure includes an element of whimsy, a cartoon starring a fictional lawyer working in Downtown.

One of the Penthouses will even feature a private roof deck, can you imagine the parties that could be thrown there?

The building will be LEED certified and include charging stations for electric cars.

All of this and the average price per square foot will be just $450.  While that will seem high for many folks, it's actually below the average for greater Miami new construction (according to Cranespotters).

It looks like Miami is recovering since developers are not afraid to begin new projects

Miami is well into the recovery - there are now 152 planned condo towers, and that doesn't even include some of the inland ones. There are also several new single family home and townhouse developments. Most shocking of all - most of these projects are being paid for in cash, sometimes 100% down. The buildings are sold before the first shovel of earth is dug.
