"Traffic in LA is always terrible, but once you get off of the freeway and into the neighborhoods it’s much more manageable. It’s at it’s worst in the mornings and between 4-6pm. Parking is always a problem, but it’s just something you learn to deal with."

"Love the Playa vibe, access to the beach & bluffs, Restuarants nearby, shops & market. Close to Marina Del Rey & LAX. Good for biking & hills for jogging. Easy access to Manhattan Beach"

"I have no commute but when I did to Santa Monica it was a relatively normal Los Angeles rush hour. It would take me about 30 minutes there and back. Sometimes 45. "

"It’s a very dog friendly place. Most owners clean up after their dogs, but occasionally you see people who don’t. "

"It was a great neighborhood but now it’s unsafe and dirty due to homelessness crisis Nevertheless, it’s still has a lot of cool small bars and restaurants "

"It's a beautiful area, close to the beaches as well as the city. The houses here however, are overpriced in my opinion. Renting a nice rent-controlled apartment might be much cheaper than owning a property. Other than that it's a safe area, good for singles and families. "

"Del Rey offers fantastic coffee shops, a growing number of retail shops, eateries and markets, all on Centinella between Washington Blvd and Braddock. The annual Police fair closes Culver BLVD for three days and the whole neighborhood comes out for rides, games and lots of fun! Overall, this is a quickly growing neighborhood and only a ten minute bike ride on the closeby Bollona Creek bike path to the sandy beach in Playa Del Rey. "

"Great neighborhood, safe (police station close by) and well maintained. There's a wonderful walking path for runners and bikers to commute, and the Ballona Creek trail allows a beautiful nature preserve close by for walking, running or biking! "

"I have a love hate relationship with this area. I love that there are a ton of great restaurants and things to do. However, it’s dirty, plus it’s riddled with drugs and homeless issues. I sent my son out with the dog one day and a barefoot homeless woman wrapped her arms around my son. It was disturbing. I wouldn’t recommend this area if you have young children. "
