This school is okay. You go to school everyday and learn that's about it. The teachers aren't too strict but the Principal is a little bit. There's not too much work unless you don't finish in class. It's basically a regular old school that teaches you. There aren't bullies and there are rarely fights. We do have a security guard and officer but they usually watch the halls and the cafe.

Unfortunately, my overall experience at this school was negative. Many teachers I had, did not go above and beyond in several aspects. For example, when I was struggling in an algebra class and asked the teacher for assistance, she frequently had an excuse as to why she couldn’t give me a few minutes of her time. There was such a lack of communication and professionalism. For example, I did additional coursework to receive extra credit and when I submitted it, the teacher told me that she wouldn’t accept it because so already had an A in the class. I reviewed my notes from the first week of class and the syllabus and it made no mention of this rule. I asked the teacher if she could update the syllabus and she refused. Later, I actually heard her with my own ears talking negatively about me to another faculty member. Teachers and staff should refrain from gossiping about students, especially while school is in session.I also struggled with receiving disrespect and hurtful behavior from other classmates while many faculty tolerated such behavior. For instance, I was referred to as a racial slur, sometimes in the presence of a teacher and absolutely nothing was done about it.

Heritage Elementary School was a awesome school i was a student there for kindergarten through 4th grade but now i'm in 6th grade and still think that it was the best school ever and loved all my teachers.

This school is amazing! All of the teachers are very kind, and so are the students!
