As of January 1st - 1) You must own your residence; 2) it must be your legal residence; 3) if your property is in a Trust you must be a Trustee of that Trust.

How much is the Waltham residential tax exemption?

It reduces the assessed value on your residence by $76,962.00 

This equates to $1,027.44 in taxes for the fiscal year 2012.
