In May 2010,
there were 673 residential single family homes, including
Condos and Townhouses, that sold in the Greater
Greenville real estate market. This is +15.4 percent
increase from the 583 units that was sold in May
2009, and 5 units lower than
the 678 units that were sold in
April
2010. This is an indication that the tax credit that expired on April
30th had an impact on the Greater Greenville real estate market in May, and will
probably have an impact on the June 2010 market statistics since these buyers
have until June 30th to close on their new home.
