Using the new ‘Find a Pro’ functionality you can now find agents, brokers, lenders, appraisers, stagers, and many more real estate professionals in your location.



To make sure we match you with the best person, you are able to sort the results by:



1. Best match: Prioritizes professionals with complete profiles, and high quality contributions on Trulia Voices

2. Most activity: Prioritizes the Trulia Voices enthousiasts who spend days and nights spreading their knowledge and offering advice to consumers in need (available on march 19th)

3. Featured: Prioritizes the professionals who are Trulia Pro subscribers and among other benefits they have ‘special’ promotion on their listings

Well, many consumers on Trulia Voices asked us this question, and many real estate pros felt that such description is not quite specific enough...

So, in a true-lia fashion, we listened to your feedback and we added 10 real estate pro types that better demonstrate the area of expertise for the Real Estate Pro members of our community. You can now select from:

Agent, Broker, Mortgage Broker or Lender, Appraiser, Home Inspector, Contractor, Builder/Developer, Stager, Property Manager, Other Pro

Once you specify the 'type of pro' that best describes you, it will appear on your profile. Progressively this info will be available throughout the site, everywhere where your photo appears, so consumers can easily understand what your area of expertise is when you answer a question, or post a blog.

How can you take advantage of this functionality?

1. Login to your Trulia Profile

2. Click edit personal info

3. Select what describes you the best from the 'Pro Type' drop down
