Foreclosures in Boynton Beach

I live and work in the West Boynton Beach area and have found that there is a shortage of available homes over $300,000 which are priced according to current market conditions.  In any given area you'll see about 30 - 40 homes listed.  Out of that, about half are still over-priced, another 10 -15 are short sales under contract, and the other one or two are foreclosures under contract.  Buyers are "grabbing up" homes as soon as they go live on the market.  There are still a lot of foreclosures in Boynton Beach which will come to the market in 2010, keeping prices somewhat level with only a slight uptick in value.  Those properties that are over-priced will need to re-evaluate their position to get the property sold.  Some of the best communities are located here, including the newer Equus, Canyon Lakes, Canyon Isles, Canyon Springs, and Cobblestone Creek - all communities which will begin building new homes in 2010 as well as offer a high percentage of short sales and foreclosures.

I still believe that foreclosures in Florida are still the best value for your money.  I work exclusively with foreclosures and REOs and receive direct listings from the banks and asset companies.  Contact and work directly with an REO Broker to get your foot "in the door" for available properties.
