Once a property is identifiec, the loan can close within 7 days, provided all approval conditions have been satisfied. 2. Secure the rate - The Lock and Shop feature allows you to lock in a rate for up to 60 days while shopping for your home. This feature provides pricing protection against rising rates and guarantees qualificaytion at the locked rate.
