Palomino Library in Scottsdale Closing it's Doors?

More budget cut news,

The Scottsdale Unified School District is also looking for ways to cut it's budget and is now working with the City of Scottsdale to close the Palomino Library on the Desert Hills High School campus.

The Library is used primarily by students (75%) and the remainder by the general public.

Obviously this is a key ingredient to the High School being it's on campus so area residents are not likely to be too happy about the proposed closure, but the city and the school district will save nearly 800k per year. With a 24 million dollar budget short fall for the City of Scottsdale that would be a major savings.
