    Can you believe 2012 is already 1/3 over? Here is some real estate market data describing the housing market in Dartmouth, MA during the 4 month of 2012 and how it compares to the same time last year. The data is from the MLS and is for single family homes.

     

    There were 54 single family homes sold in Dartmouth during this period with a median price of $234,750. For the same period in 2011, 51 single family homes sold with a median price of $237000.

     

    Sales volume is up 6% this year over the same period last year, while the

    There are currently 198 single family homes for sale in Dartmouth, with a median asking price of $419,000, as compared to a year ago when there were 202 homes on the market with a median asking price of $429,450.

    There were 36 single family homes sold in Dartmouth during the first quarter of 2012 at a median price of $227,500. For the same period in 2011, 35 single family homes sold with a median price of $235,000.

     

    Volume was up 3% during 2012 1st quarter as compared to 2011, while the median price off 3.2%.

    Dartmouth MAHere is some real estate market data describing the housing market in Dartmouth for all of 2011 and how it compares to last year. The data is from the MLS and is for single family homes.

     

    218 single family homes sold in Dartmouth during 2011 at an average sale price of $319,244 and median price of $246,000. For the same 12 month period in 2010, 186 single family homes sold with an average sales price of $330,521 and median price of $265,000.

     

    2011 volume was up 17% compared to last year, while the average price was down 3.4% and the median price also down 7.2% or $19,000.
