Frustrated your home is not selling? There is hope now!

In April we saw the end of the home buyer's credit and if you home was for sale during that time, no doubt you felt disappointed it did not sell.

I knew, beyond a doubt, that May would be a slow month for most people, as many people who hoped to buy soon bought in April.  (The May statistics won't fully show this because you only had to get in contract in April, but many of those deals actually closed in May.)

However, June traditionally is one of the best, if not the very best selling month of the year.  School is out and so are the buyers.  Now is not the time to pull your listing or get too disappointed.

Now is the time to make aggressive moves to sell you home.  Drop your price, hold and open house, advertise more online or in the paper, do what you can now and set yourself up for the actual selling season.  There is hope now.
