Foreclosure in Oregon, and the four types of distressed properties.

Four types of distressed properties in Oregon:

1. Short Sale

The Seller owes more than the home is worth - looks to the bank for approval on any offers.
Short sales are readily available in the normal RMLS accessed by most Real Estate Agents.

2. Forclosure - Auction

In the state of Oregon, foreclosed homes by auction must be paid for in cash, no loans.

3. Forclosure - Bank Sale

Most, if not all, Bank Sale homes are readily available in the normal RMLS accessed by most Real Estate Agents.  They are common sold "as is," meaning they will do no repairs, however, this does not necessarily mean the property needs any repairs.

4. "As Is"
A property described like this will generally be too damage for any financing.

Need help?  I have experience buying and selling all 4 categories.
