Showing your Home and creating an inviting atmosphere

There are many ways of creating appeal in your home. One of the easiest ways to create allure is through smells. While using a lot of spray air fresheners and plug-ins can aggravate the sensitive buyer or cause allergic reaction to buyers with allergies, there are other helpful ways to create a wonderful smell of “home” in your house. The age old trick of baking cookies never fails when it comes to conveying a comfortable feeling that we all get when we smell sweet baking chocolate chip cookies. Candles are also another way to have a sweet theme for each area, without over powering the buyer. Also try potpourri, such as apples, brown sugar, and cinnamon in the crock pot, the simmering scent will fill your home with the thoughts of apple pie and baseball games on a Sunday afternoon. Whatever the scent, keep in mind that you are trying to invite the buyer to see your home as theirs.
