In northwest Gladwin County there is a 5,000 acre state forest land area that is called the Gladwin Field Trial Area (GFTA).Â The GFTA is dedicated to hosting bird dog field trials.Â It is actually one of the premier locations for this activity in the nation and brings participants from throughout the United States.
