You should know and be prepared. If this is your first time buying and you have 3.5% down, there's no way listing agents are going to present your offer. Are they supposed to, well yes...Can you ask for a signed page 8 to prove that the seller saw your offer? Yes, but you wont get it.....
Listing agents are not REQUIRED to show you a signed page 8, you'll never know if your offer, even if it was a resonable offer and it met the guidlines stated on the MLS....
