Queen's Feast 2010

If you are anything like me and enjoy a feast of gastronomical proportions, gear up for this year's Restaurant Week coming July 16-25th. The best upscale restaurants in Charlotte are offering 3-5 course meals during this 10 day feast for only $30 per person. With over 80 to choose from all over the greater Charlotte area, there is something for everyone. Although most are offering the usual (salmon, steak & roast chicken) check out each individual restaurant for their variations of the dish. My favorites to check out this year because of their selection: restaurants, Carpe Diem, Lulu, Cafe Monte, M5 Mediteranean, Noble's, Blue, Chima Brazilian Steakhouse, Sonoma, and Zink.

You're probably going to be too full to have dessert, but don't miss the Carolina peaches, pecans & cream at Mimosa Grill or the Peach Crostada w/ pecan crunch & blackberry ice dream at Zink.

It is best to view each restaurants selection via <www.charlotterestaurant week.com> and make reservations as well. Keep me posted on where you go and what you suggest! Eat up!!!
