Job Seekers in Need of Computer Skills to Find Help at Liberty Hill Public Library

In today's competitive job market, being somewhat computer literate is a must. Many employers advertise available job openings on various online websites, and being able to access them is a necessary when it comes to finding a job.  

If your inexperience with computers is hindering your job search, Liberty Hill Public Library will be offering computer skills classes to help. The five class session will be held every Monday at Liberty Hill Public Library starting May 9th. The class will focus on general computer literacy which will include computer, Internet and email basics. Having the basic knowledge of these things has proven successful for many when it comes to landing and keeping a job.

The classes will be held in the Liberty Hill Public Library located at 355 Loop 332. The class will begin promptly at 6:30pm and last two hours. Computer skills class is open to any job seeker 17 or older.

Digital Literacy Corps, a program implemented by the Central Texas Library System (CTLS) in partnership with 28 public libraries in central Texas, has made this class possible. DLC strives to provide a stronger Texas workforce by sharing resources and community empowerment.
