Cloud everything seems to be the way software is heading and if you don't know what the cloud is you should. This is something that you will be left behind on.
Anyways everyone is looking for storage solutions and if you own more than one computer it gets annoying keeping certain things synced between them. For one thing I am still looking for a good email solution and I am really getting tired with Outlook's lack here, so if anyone has any good suggestions please tell me. Well Zumodrive looks to be a solution to share files between several computers. You can check out this article here for more details and also sign up for a free trial.
I think it does look like a great solution but I find the costs to be severely prohibitive. I understand its a new company and needs to recoup costs but storage is cheap and should be cheap in the cloud as well. $60 bucks a month to share 60 gigs of stuff in the cloud is too much. You could buy an external solution each month for that price and soon have several Terabytes of storage.
If you missed why it would work great for you its because say you have a phone or a netbook with limited space. This lets you access the files on the go with net access and basically provides you with a much bigger hard drive.
Some other applications of interest that work similarly are drop.io and dropbox. I have used both and find them rather useful.
