Google Street View Updates, Makes Finding Businesses Easier

From the website Lifehacker:

Google today introduced some changes to its Street View function that makes it easier to spot an address when you're in Street View.

Before when you found a business in Google Maps and then switched to Street View to get a quick glance at what it'll actually look like when you got there, you had no way of knowing which building was actually the business in question.

Now when you enter a business search and click on the Street View link, you'll be presented with the same red pushpins as the ones generated by Maps searches, pinpointing exactly which building you're looking for. You can also move around the pane to see the surrounding area and then double-click the marker to jump back to regular viewing mode.

Check out Google's video demonstration to see the small but extremely useful new feature in action.

Google street view is also a great real estate tool.  You can use it to get a feel of what a neighborhood looks like with out ever having to leave your house.  Of course nothing beats checking out  a neighborhood in person.
