Fannie Mae has announced that people who buy a HomePath® property between now and May 1 can get up to 3.5 percent of the sales price to spend on closing costs or new appliances.

Buyers of these properties must close before the May 1 date, meaning that the properties should probably go under contract by mid-March or sooner. The Fannie Mae offer is for owner-occupants only.
As of this date, 11 Boulder County homes are listed as "active" or "just listed" on the HomePath.com website. The website says two homes are "coming soon." Prices range from $124,900 to $327,900.
Fannie Mae said many of its properties are eligible for HomePath mortgages and HomePath Renovation mortgages, which provide purchase loans with as little as three percent down. For more information on the HomePath Mortgage program,

Buyers also may be eligible for the current $8,000 or $6,500 tax deductions provided by the Federal government. Buyers should check with their accountants about participating in these programs.
