Like all marketing and sales professionals, real estate agents like to talk.  Apparently we also like to write.

There are a lot of real estate blogs on the internet. And I mean a LOT! 

I just typed "real estate" into google's blog search service.  The popular search engine referenced 69,258,608 blogs.  Of course, some of the entries come from blogs that mention real estate, but are not about real estate.  Still, there clearly are a LOT of real estate blogs out there.  Many are written by real estate professionals who want to make a good impression on you, a potential client.

Unfortunately, we sometimes, talk (or write) too much.  Sometimes, for the sake of understanding clients, we should stop and listen. Call it "market research."

So I am asking for your help –– a favor, if you will.  Please use the comments feature of this blog to tell me what you really, really, really want from your real estate professional.

What kind of person do you seek when hiring an agent?  What services do you value most? How should your agent relate to you?  If you once had a great experience with an agent, what made that experience so good? If you have had a horrible experience, what made it so bad?

You can be brief or as detailed as you like.  Whatever works for you.
