We are pleased to announce that we have expanded our Foreign
National Loan Program to include Non-Resident and Non-U.S.
Citizens borrowing for second homes in the United States.

The following are the guidelines:

  • No US Social Security Number (SSN) required
  • No US credit required Maximum loan amount $417,000
  • Low 30-year fixed-rate mortgage
  • Only 30% down payment required from borrower's own funds
  • Must have 6 months reserves in a US bank before closing
  • 700 credit score minimum required
  • 36/45 Debt-To-Income Ratio (DTI)
  • Single family homes and condos allowed

What happens with those who do not have a credit score? Isn't hat the point of a FN program?

Good question, Andrew & Elana. We have a source for foreign credit reports. However, if a borrower does not have a credit score, we can, at our discretion review alternative credit for approval.

Hello Ros, what about financing for rental properties for Canadians? Any options? I already own some but would like to use financing for future purchases.
