In May 2012, 78 homes were sold in Wesley Chapel with an average sales price of $144,300. This compares with 77 homes sold during the same period last year which translates into a 1% increase in the number of homes sold and a 1% decrease in the average sales price (from $146,000 to $144,300).
At the end of the month there were 292 homes for sale in the Wesley Chapel area; 27% of the available homes sold in the last month. 292/78= an inventory of 3.7 months. There has been a 36% decrease in the number of homes available for sale from May 2011 to May 2012 (from 455 to 292).
