If you've never lived in the hills, consider all aspects of life up in the hills before abandoning life in the comforts of the towns below.
La Honda Road is a narrow, winding road. If you go deeper into the hills, you'll find Old La Honda Road is even narrower with steep drop offs if you were to lose concentration and fall off the road.
Also, when you view the lot size, you have to take into account how much of the land is buildable flat land vs. unbuildable sloped land. Many of the homes in the hills have large lot sizes on paper, but when you visit, you see much of the lot is composed of hillside that can't be readily built upon.
The Rivermark Board moved to approve the proposed budgeted monthly contribution from homeowners of the Landings to pay back attorney and construction fees for the Landings litigation. The Board projected an additional $150,000 in attorney fees and set the payback period at 10 years, starting in 2014. The community's legal counsel, John Gill, presented the status of Rivermark HOA's litigation with Shea Homes for the three Landings neighborhoods at the October 16th board meeting. Board meetings are held at the Don Callejon School Library at 4176 Lick Mill Blvd, Building C.
