History of the townhouses on Carlisle Way in Sunnyvale Ortega Park / Stocklmeir Neighborhood

The townhouse complex on Carlisle Way in the Sunnyvale Ortega Park / Stocklmeir Neighborhood originally was an apartment complex.
If you'd like to find details of the original building structure, you can go down to the city of Sunnyvale offices to find construction records.

The official Santa Clara County record shows 2007 as the current townhouse complex's build date.
When the apartment complex was coverted to townhouses, the builders ripped almost everything out down the the studs and rebuilt pretty much new.
The City of Sunnyvale was in favor of the project because the conversion plan included the construction of public clubhouse, kids play area, etc. areas in the middle of the two sections of the complex.  The original apartment complex did not have as many shared amenities for occupants.
