Sad story out out of Strongsville Ohio this week. Buyer walks into new construction at a $315,000 price point. They were very happy and excited as this was well within their price range. They sit down with the buiders rep and low and behold they were escalated to to $350,000. Sad story is they signed the contract and put $10,000K down. They go home to sleep on it and realize they are way over their head as what to what they can afford. They call the buider the next morning and say we want to delete the extras and bring down the price as to what the builder orginaly advertised. As you can well imagine buider said no way, you chose a lot that had to have the upgrades and now we are keeping your $10,000. Buyer beware! you think if you can go directly to buider and they will give you a better deal without representation? This poor buyer who learned the hard way now knows better. Who is guarding your transaction?
