Here in Jupiter we love our beaches.Â In fact, there is a group called Friends of Jupiter Beach that clean the beaches and make sure they stay pristine and open to dog lovers.Â Any morning you visit the beach you will find all sorts of happy folks fishing, snoozing, playing with their dogs, swimming and almost anything else you can think of.

Just south of Jupiter is the area known as Palm Beach Gardens, a town that proudly proclaims itself the golf capital of the world. Â It's true that world class golf is available at clubs like Old Palm, BallenIsles, Mirasol and Old Marsh. Â But one of the largest developments is the PGA National with it's central facility the PGA National Resort and Spa.
Located on the western side of the Gardens, the sprawling compound is situated in the middle of what is actually a small city of about 5,000 residences of every size, shape and price. Â 4 golf courses punctuate the landscape as well as about 800 acres of green space.

The snook is our most popular, inshore gamefish. Â These aggressive fish live in shallow water and are often found stalking their prey close to shore and near pilings or piers. Â During the summer they move into the passes to spawn then in the fall they feed heavily before retreating up the rivers for the winter since they do not like cold weather.
