Jupiter and Tequesta real estate and updates on our fabulous lifestyle

Tequesta, is it near the ocean and beaches?

Tequesta is Jupiter's sister city on the north side of the Jupiter Inlet.  Here in the shadow of the famous Jupiter Lighthouse, the sleepy Village of Tequesta offers a unique assortment of living styles.

Coastal Florida Real Estate
Tequesta is surrounded by water on three sides and Jonathan Dickinson State Park on the north.  This means traffic is very light and it is a quiet place to live.

Tequesta real estate offers waterfront condos located on the Intracoastal Waterway.  Here most of the units are 2 or 3 bedroom and prices are typically in the mid $ 200's.  In some buildings like Broadview residents have views north up the ICW and across to Jupiter Island.

There are single family homes in neighborhoods like Bayview Terrace, River Ridge, Heritage Oaks and Tequesta Country Club.  Along the different forks of the Loxahatchee River, waterfront properties can run into the millions and have unequaled views of the River.

For beach lovers, Coral Cove park on Jupiter Island is only a 5 minute drive.  If you prefer quieter waters, the ICW on Jupiter Island offers quiet shallow water perfect for snorkeling and relaxing.

Cross the Jupiter Inlet and you will find Dubois Park and Jupiter Beach Park which is right on the ocean.  A little further south you will find Carlin Park and then all the way to Juno Beach are the famous Jupiter beaches which are wide, clean, "dog-friendly" and most of all free.

If Tequesta sounds like a place worth investigating as a possible new location for your family, you can see all Tequesta homes for sale on Coastal Florida Real Estate or for personal service contact me at 561-762-4073.
