On Saturday, March 5, 2011, FULLERTON HERITAGE will be hosting a WALKING TOUR OF HISTORIC DOWNTOWN FULLERTON. This highlight event is one of several throughout the year bringing locals and tourists to one of Orange County's most beloved downtown cores. Rich in history, culture and tradition, you will surely see a side of Fullerton you never knew before! So take a step back in time and learn about how this once rural town has transformed itself to the economic center that it is today.

MEETING PLACE:  Fullerton Museum Center - 301 North Pomona Ave, Fullerton, CA

TIME: 9:00am

PRICE: FREE for Fullerton Heritage Members and $5 for General Public

Target Free Sunday: Come and enjoy a wonderful day viewing fabulous exhibitions at the Bowers Museum. Free admission (sponsored by Target Corp.) on Sunday, March 6 from 10 a.m to 4 p.m. at Bowers Museum, 2002 N. Main St., Santa Ana. Price: free.

Sesame Street Presents: The Body: Grab the kids and run, jump and play your way through an interactive exhibition all about the human body. Presented by Sesame Street from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. now at the Discovery Science Center, 2500 N. Main St., Santa Ana. Price:Adults $12.95, children $9.95.



Kids' Fishing Derby: OC Parks and CA Dept. of Fish and Game will host the annual Kids' Fishing Derby on Saturday, March 5 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Mile Square Regional Park, 16801 Euclid St., Fountain Valley. Price: free, $5 parking per vehicle.

Habitat Restoration: Come assist Back to Natives in restoring habitat for animals. Bring gloves, susnscreen and a re-useable water bottle filled with water. Sunday, Mar. 6 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at William R. Mason Regional Park, 18712 University Dr., Irvine. Price: free - RSVP to volunteer@backtonatives.org



Whale's Tale Tall Ship Sailing Adventure: Enjoy an exciting tall ship sail and gain new insight on man's evolving relationship with the ocean and the whales that travel our California coastline on Sunday, March 6 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Ocean Institute, 24200 Dana Point Harbor, Dana Point. Price: $40 adults, $23 children.

Wildflower Walk: Come see what's blooming! Expert Bob Allen will lead the walk on Saturday, March 5 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Donna O'Neill Land Conservancy on Ortega Highway, San Juan Capistrano. Price: $10 adult, $5 child.

Mustang Youth Football Camp: This football camp is structured to introduce Junior High/Middle school students to high school football as well as enhancing the skills taught in Pop Warner Football Sunday March 6 at Trabuco Hills High School, 27501 Mustang Run, Mission Viejo. Price:$100 for session 1.
