San Diego A Haven Natural Disasters

Disasters can happen anywhere in the world, and it’s important to choose a location where these are rare occurrences. Also consider the speed and quality of their emergency services when it actually happens. That’s why we’ll be talking about San Diego where it’s one of the safest cities around.

California is known for its earthquakes as it’s located on the San Andreas Fault. San Diego only experiences minor earthquakes but the quakes don’t do any damage, just cause mild annoyances for most folks here.

San Diego rarely experiences floods, but they do happen. Constant heavy rains lasting up to a week can cause this, but thankfully it rarely rains here.

It’s a given for areas with abundant amounts of flammable vegetation and periods of dry, hot, windy weather.

Happens on occasion but the tornadoes aren’t strong and lasts only for a short duration. No records of deaths and a few injured since 1950.

According to scientists, tsunamis cannot strike San Diego because of the way the sea-floor is formed. It saps the strength from tsunamis and the surrounding islands also helps deter them.

If you constantly worry about natural disasters happening and losing your home or even worse, your life in the process, San Diego real estate might be the one for you. It’s not only safe, it’s impossible to become bored here with its wide range of beaches and various cuisines available.
