Most folks I have found love this recipe that my husband Kevin and I prepare on a pretty regular basis. So as not to write it all over again.

Memorial Day Weekend 2009 – Ocean City, Maryland

Did you know that we celebrate Memorial Day as a day of remembrance for those who have died in our nation’s service.  In contrast, Veteran’s Day honors all who have served.  1.1 million Americans have died in all the nation’s wars.

At Arlington National Cemetery, three unknown servicemen are buried at the Tomb of the Unknowns. Memorial Day is observed with the laying of a wreath at the Tomb, which is guarded by the U.S. Army 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

The National Moment of Remembrance encourages all Americans to pause wherever they are at 3:00pm local time on Memorial Day for a minute of silence to remember and honor those who have died in service to the nation.

We can not forget the importance and significance of these events. So many have given their lives to protect the freedom and liberty that we have as U.S. citizens.

I love where I live and work. The sense of community and everyone's willingness to extend themselves to others makes all of our lives very rich.

I want to share with you some information about a local organization here on the Eastern Shore of Maryland called the Ocean City Parrot Head Club.

Arthur B. Laffer co-authored a book entitled "The End Of Prosperity" that was released earlier this month.

I think there has been a lot of mistakes made. As always,we've heard this before, you really learn the most from looking back at our history.
