You’ve got a lot of stuff
We all do
But trying to sell your home when every square inch is covered is bad.
You don’t need to throw things out, get them out of sight (just not in closets or under the bed).
1. Remove appliances from counter tops
Showing as much counter space as possible will make your kitchen look larger. Buyers love to look at the kitchen so make the most of your space.
2. Clean out closets and cabinets
Get your closets organized – hopefully a professional from Hoarders won’t need to be called. A buyer wants to see how much of their crap will fit into the home they buy.
3. Clean up the kids toys
American Girl dolls, coloring books, Zsu Zsu pets, My Little Ponies (can you tell I have a young daughter?) and other toys can easily take over your house. Use bins, totes, baskets or the garbage can to sort and store.
