The Grandeur of Greenland Hills

Greenland Hills, or “M” Streets, as the neighborhood is also called is a favorite Dallas neighborhood.  The neighborhood has two major streets, McCommas and Monticello, with many minor streets in the neighborhood beginning with “M”.

The area offers beautiful homes that date back as far as the 1920s.  The homes are outstanding in architect with many of them being Tudor Style design.  The homes have unique features such as stained glass windows, wood floors and acres of beautiful landscaped grounds.

Of the area, the Tudor Rivival Cottages are very popular and dominate the area.  These homes feature brick with large front porches with an overhead roof.

Although the area is one of Dallas’ finer areas, the price range of homes varies greatly.  There are homes that need remodeling that can be picked up for $180,000.  Homes that have already been renovated sell for a bit more and the newer homes range from $650,000 to $750,000.

The neighborhood is a very affluent neighborhood and is known for a grandeur beauty.  The homes are set in a private setting and streets are lined with beautiful, mature trees.

For all generations, Greenland Hills is definitely an area that will be thoroughly enjoyed.
