Since the Holiday season is in full swing, I thought I would share my favorite fun holiday events in Newburyport, MA with you. This is the place to get into the Holiday Spririt!
Santa's Parade on Market Sq. is held on the first Sunday after Thanksgiving every year. Santa makes a grand entrance by Coast Guard Boat and parades through downtown to Market Sq where he lights the Christmas tree.
Invitation Night's are Friday Dec. 2, and 9 from 6-9. This event is growing in popularity and adds to the lively festive atmosphere. Shop merchants graciously provide treets to all who participate.
Santa's Workshop is open on Inn St, Saturdays and Sunday's till Xmas, 11am to 2pm. Jolly old Santa sits for wish lists and photo's. Bring your camera!
Shopping at A Partridge & a Bear Tree. Get into the Christmas spirit while perusing their fabulous assortment of holiday trinkets and gifts.
Enjoy a Starbuck's sprecial holiday warm drink and stroll the shops downtown.
For the Adult's, Molly's Pub at 10 Center St. is a cozy place to reserve a table by the fire and enjoy a Hot Totty.
Decorate a Christmas Tree! The Christmas Tree Farm on 110 in Salisbury is a fabulous place to pick out a tree. They lend you a hand-saw so you can cut it down yourself. Very friendly farmers.
Treat my Family to a tasty morsel from Pralines Bakery! Mmmmm. This is the time of year to indulge and what better way than with a French pastry.
Order a Locally raised Turkey at Tendercrop Farm.
