Q.Is it possible to be exempt from property taxes in Frederick, MD? A. YES

I found this today on the Frederick county tax website.

"Disabled veterans and blind persons who are exempt from property taxes under State law can apply for a refund of property taxes for the past three years. For information or an application, call SDAT at 301-815-5350 or visit their website at http://www.dat.state.md.us/sdatweb/taxcredits.html "

There are many exemptions besides this one listed towards the bottom of the 1st page. I called a title attorney to ask if they were familiar with these programs and they are not.I could we wrong but I have a feeling not many people know this is possible.

Please take a look to see if you qualify for this exemption as a disabled veteran. If you have follow up questions please let me know.

Thanks,
