It's long been known that any game at Dutchess Stadium, home of the Hudson Valley Renegades, is good, affordable family fun. That's why nonprofit organizations visit the stadium on fundraising ventures.

The Wallkill East Rotary will visit July 18, and the City of Middletown DARE Program will benefit July 19 and Sept. 2.

The price is the same for each. Tickets are $20, which includes the ticket, a hot dog and soda voucher, and a Renegades baseball cap. Eight dollars of the price goes back home for the nonprofit. It's a good deal.

For the Rotary, tickets can be ordered online at gadesgroups.com (the password is Wallkill) or call Nick Constantino at 342-2828.

For DARE, order online at gadesgroups.com (the password is daren) or reach Middletown Police Officer Jacqueline Welch, who serves as the DARE officer, at 346-4013 or by e-mail at jwelch@middletownpolice.com. The DARE program runs solely on volunteer funds.
