Streets are lined with sidewalks, homes with welcoming front porches, colorful flower beds and decorative flags pleasing to the eye. Keeping up with the Jones, just for fun, neighbors compete for the most beautiful landscaping award each month. The real estate developer of Daniel Island designed a complete master planned community and excellent Daniel Island golf. Parks, churches, three schools and the urban Downtown Daniel Island is home to outdoor cafes and shops, all easy places to reach from Daniel Island neighborhoods by bicycle. While downtown Charleston is always exciting, Daniel Island is home to art festivals, sporting events and concerts too. The Family Circle Cup takes place annually at Daniel Island, Charleston South Carolina is named the Best Tennis Town in America.
