The latest Maricopa County real estate statistics have been released. It shows a clear trend of the number of Notices of Default dropping every month. The Notice of Default is the first step in a
foreclosure. As the number of Notices drop, so will the number of foreclosures. The purple line on the chart shows the number of Notices of Default in Maricopa County since June 2009. The number peaked in December 2009 and has been dropping ever since.
