HomeGain, a leading website that connects real estate agents with home buyers and sellers recently announced the results of the Green Home improvement survey. Responses from nearly 1,000 nationwide, HomeGain configured a list of the top nine do-it-yourself GREEN home improvements that cost under $300 and benefit sellers MOST when selling their homes.
- Plant trees and shrubs
- Replace air filters
- Green home staging
- Weather strip and caulk doors and windows
- Install programmable thermostats
- Install low flow shower heads
- Use auto turn-off power strips
- Install CFL or LED lights
- Paint with low VOC paint
