A New Jersey-based wholesale plumbing company announced today it is relocating to Irving, where it plans to lease more than 41,000 square feet of industrial space not far from the  Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport
Financial details of the lease were not disclosed, but Mountain Accessories, currently based in West Deptford, N.J., said in a statement that plans for the space in the Twinrose Regent 1 development include a 1,000-square-foot showroom nestled within about 10,000 square feet of corporate offices. The site will also house 31,000 square feet of warehouse and distribution facilities, the latter being the first to move from New England, with offices relocating later this year.
The company’s 10-year lease was signed after it spent more than a year looking to relocate west of the Mississippi River, according to the company’s announcement. Its executives chose North Texas – and more specifically the area near the D/FW Airport -- for its centralized U.S. location and also for the locale’s Free Trade Zone status. Â
Todd Lambeth, executive vice president with Dallas-based Bradford Commercial Real Estate Services, partnered with Joe Santaularia, an associate Bradford agent, to broker the deal on behalf of Twinrose Investments, the 256,500-square-foot building’s  owner. Mountain Accessories was represented by Van Power and David Schrock of Dallas’ NAI Robert Lynn office.
The Fort Worth Business Press has left a message with Mountain Accessories seeking more details about the company’s size, including number of employees. Check the July 23 issue for more on this story.
