The rover Curiosity landed on Mars in the Gale Crater this past August as part of a 2 year mission to determine whether the planet ever had a climate that could have supported life The rover has already found signs that the planet may have once harbored more habitable environments. In September, the rover found evidence of a â€œvigorousâ€ thousand year flow on the surface of Mars.
