The Market Activity Index dropped .04 points from last month to January 2009 levels.Â This shift if caused by a continued jump in New Listings and a drop in the Pending Ratio to the lowest point of the last 12 months.Â That means fewer New Sales creating an increase of Months of Inventory. Interestingly, home values have increased but I would not bet on that trend continuing.Â Â Â
For buyers â€“The increase in listing inventory and low interest rates make this a very good time to buy.
