  • Concerned About Your Schools...?

Are you as concerned as I am over the quality of education in our schools...especially given the cutbacks in state funding and the vague promises of the Federal stimulus package?  I am addressing this question to all Huntington Township residents, as all of our districts are subject to cost increases and major cutbacks in New York State spending.  And yet we are practically guaranteed tax increases!

As a proud Prudential Douglas Elliman Realtor, a 30-year Huntington resident, and a former educator, I have decided to do what I can to make a difference.  I am hoping to begin a trend that, if it catches on, could truly improve our schools' ability to function in this time of economic crisis.

I am pledging 10% of my fee for service in any real estate transaction to go directly to a school or school district.  The school or program to be the recipient of this donation would be determined by my client.  Every great program begins with one small step and working together, I believe we can make the difference that helps our schools weather these tough economic times.

If you are thinking of buying or selling property, call me at the Huntington office 631-549-4400 Ext. 242 and together let us begin the work of helping keep the fine institutions that not only prepare our children for successful lives, but help us preserve the value of our homes.
